Snow Elves have pale white skin and silver hair and eyes. Some live in glittering glacier caves that they protect fiercely from all outsiders and turn into palaces of beauty and light. Others embrace the wildness of the land and live where their whims take them.
Sometimes elves (particularly those of the Wind Clan) and humans will produce children. These Half-Elves tend to favor their elf parents, and usually inherit their pale skin, hair, and eyes, while being taller and heavier than the typical elf. The Beastmen consider Half-Elves to be just another type of Beastman, and treat them accordingly. Half-elf PCs should use the standard half-elf statistics.
Snow Clan: Your people live in glacier caves and are the most removed from the other cultures on Leva.
Use the High Elf subrace stats.
Wind Clan: Your people travel the land, camping in its wildest places and exploring its remotest peaks. Wind Clan Elves are also on generally favorable terms with the various tribes of Beastmen, and have regular dealings with them.
Use the Wood Elf subrace stats, and add “Cold Endurance. You have advantage on saves made to resist the effects of a cold environment. (This does not help against spells that directly deal cold damage, only climate effects.)”
Light Clan. Your people live on the mountain peaks and worship the spirits of the Night Sky Lights. As they reach adulthood, they are marked by the spirits – light reflects off their hair and skin with shimmers of ever-shifting color. Their eyes will also be pink, blue, purple, or a yellowish-green, and glow faintly. Light Clan elves are nocturnal, wild and chaotic – they are just as likely to be fighting with any given tribe or village as they are to be friendly with them.
Use the following subrace stats:
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Light Magic. You know the dancing lights cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the faerie fire spell once per day. When you reach 5th level, you can also cast the light spell once per day. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Elf Weapon Training. You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.
Superior Darkvision. Your darkvision has a radius of 120 feet.
Cold Endurance. You have advantage on saves made to resist the effects of a cold environment. (This does not help against spells that directly deal cold damage, only climate effects.)
